BITSAT 2013 Application Form,

The BITSAT 2013 Application Forms have not yet been released and will be released around the ending of January, 2013. Till then the candidate can get an idea about the application process from the following information based on last year.

Candidates who want to apply for BITSAT 2013 will have to apply via an ONLINE application from only. The BITSAT 2013 Application Form will be available on http://www.bitsadmission.com. The candidates have to complete this application form and preserve its print out for the future references.

The payment for BITSAT 2013 Application Form can be made ONLINE also. However, the candidates who want to send DD can do so by sending a copy of completely filled BITSAT 2013 Application Form and a DD of Rs. 1700/- for Male Candidates and Rs. 1200/- for Female Candidates to Admissions Officer, BITS, Pilani – 333031.

BITSAT 2013 Application Form fees via any mode other than DD will be Rs. 1600/- for Male Candidates and Rs. 1100/- for Female Candidates.

However, the candidates who are applying for DUBAI as Examination Center will have to pay an application fee of US$ 50 for BITSAT 2013 Application Form (both for Male and Female candidates). Online payment details will be available on the website.

The last date to apply for BITSAT 2013 will be around the third week of February 2013. The students who are paying the fees via a DD will have to send their BITSAT 2013 Application Form print out complete in all respects and the DD which must reach by the third week of February 2013.

Candidates have to download their ‘HALL TICKET’ from the website of BITSAT 2013 before coming to the examination center on the day of exam.

Apart from registering for the exam and appearing for it, the candidates have to send another BITSAT 2013 Application Form for admission with the details of 12th marks and course preferences. BITSAT 2013 Application Form for admission, the list of degree programmes and the detailed procedure for application will be available on the BITSAT 2013 website by the last week of May 2013.

BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria

There are following clauses in the BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria:

1. For getting admission into any Integrated First Degree Program, the candidates are required to have qualified XII and X form any recognized State/Central Board or its equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as the compulsory Subjects.
2. The candidate should have scored a minimum of 75% aggregate marks and a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry individually to satisfy BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria.
3. The candidates who have qualified the above mentioned exams in 2013 will be eligible under BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria. Also the candidates who have qualified the XII exam in 2012 will be eligible given they have proper reason for this gap.
4. The decisions taken by the admissions committee regarding the BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria will be final.
5. Candidates already studying in any of the campus of BITS Pilani, are NOT according to BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria.
6. If the candidate is not able to submit the final result of XII till the last date, He/she will not be considered for admission as per BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria, even if he has the record of earlier performance in XII or its equivalent exam. If the candidate has attempted XII more than one time, he will be eligible as per BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria, provided he/she should have done so for full course.
7. The candidates who are the board toppers of their respective BOARDS will get direct admission in the course of their choice, irrespective of their score in BITSAT 2013, as per the BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria.
8. However, such candidates should have scored the minimum eligible marks in XII as specified earlier.

       The candidates satisfying the above mentioned conditions will be eligible under 

        BITSAT2013 Eligibility Criteria.

        

 

              

BITSAT 2013 CUTOFF

Every year, to prepare a merit list of the candidates BITS Pilani decides a particular score value. This score is called BITSAT 2013 CUTOFF. The candidates scoring marks above this cutoff will be included in the merit list and called for counseling.

This BITSAT 2013 CUTOFF gives the candidates a rough idea whether they will be called for counseling, which institute they can apply for and what course they can fill as a choice. Based on the BITSAT 2013 CUTOFF, a wait list will also be prepared for each course and institute. This wait list will have the names of the candidates who can get admission in their higher preferences if, the already admitted student/s doesn’t take the seat.

This BITSAT 2013 CUTOFF will help the students to decide their priorities while filling their choices for both the courses and the BITS Pilani institutes.

BITS Pilani will decide the BITSAT 2013 CUTOFF based on the past experience of seat allotment, number of candidates who appeared for BITSAT 2013 and the intake for the year.
